To provide better UTP performance, Belden developed an innovative manufacturing process in which the individual insulated conductors are affixed together along their longitudinal axes. This process ensures several key conditions:
Twisted pair wil not loosen during manufacture or installation,
Uniform conductor-to-conductor spacing,
Uniform tension on conductors within a pair during manufacture,
Uniform twisting of insulated conductors into pairs
Stable Crosstalk and impedance before and--even more importantly--after installation.
